What’s in store for 2024? There are lots of new, exciting and innovative Digital Transformation projects on the 7T development docket for 2024, especially in the areas of machine learning and AI development. Let’s take a look at the anticipated 2024 technology trends — namely, artificial intelligence (AI) — with a focus on the Digital Transformation projects that 7T has planned for the year to come.
Innovative AI Development Projects and Process Automations for SMBs
For the year ahead, 7T’s leadership estimates that approximately 8 in 10 Digital Transformation projects will prominently include artificial intelligence and machine learning technology.
In fact, 7T has already gained notice as a local leader in Dallas artificial intelligence development services, with more and more clients seeking machine learning-driven AI solutions and related offerings, such as business process automations (BPAs), mobile applications and enterprise software development.
More SMBs Leveraging AI Development Services in 2024
It’s expected that 2024 will see a greater number of small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) turning to AI development companies such as 7T for their Digital Transformation projects in 2024. The reason: machine learning models have advanced to a point where a relatively small data set can be used to create and train the machine learning models that are used to drive artificial intelligence functionalities.
This improved efficiency allows you to use machine learning-driven AI in new ways, with faster delivery times and a lower price point. That’s good news for organizations that are seeking to implement AI in a mobile app, web app or enterprise software platform.
Less Data = More Opportunities for Machine Learning Models
“Previously, you needed exorbitant amounts of data to train machine learning models and now, you need much less, allowing you to use AI in ways that were impractical until recently,” explained Steve Parta, 7T’s VP of Enterprise Services. He added, “This opens the door to exciting new opportunities for SMBs and smaller organizations that are seeking AI development services.”
7T is already working on AI-centric Digital Transformation projects for SMBs in the insurance, logistics, Fintech, and HR (human resources) industries. “ As an example, in the HR vertical, we’re using AI to understand who is best suited to move up within an organization. We also have attrition predictions and other qualities that are relevant in a human resources setting,” Parta indicated.
7T is also working on the development of parallel technologies such as business process automation (BPA) solutions. “In the insurance space, we have a client that is using AI to process insurance claims and to place thousands of emails into automated workflows,” Parta explained regarding a BPA development project that’s currently underway.
2024 Digital Transformation Spotlight: AI Development for Couture Clothing Models
One of 7T’s most significant Digital Transformation development projects for the first part of 2024 involves the creation of a proprietary 3D design platform to customize clothing. The client — a high-end custom clothing company — sought the development of a design platform that would allow their end-user clients to create, curate and order their own customized garment.
7T sought to accomplish several goals with this project.
-
-
- Positioning the client with a competitive advantage with a state-of-the-art, web-based 3D design platform.
- Streamline the workflow between the design process and the manufacturing process with the ability to create and export designs for each customized garment.
- Integrate the platform with the company’s existing Salesforce account.
- Establish a technological framework to support the development of additional customization capabilities, along with new features and functionalities in the future.
-
An end user will have the ability to customize each garment in the platform featuring a highly-detailed virtual model. Users can modify virtually every aspect of a garment, such as braid style and placement, crystal patterns, colors, logo and graphics placement, amongst other things.
Each feature of the garment is associated with a dollar figure, giving users full control over the price of the finished product. After the users finish customizing the design, the application features the ability to generate and export a ‘tech pack,’ which details garment specs for the manufacturing process.
“In the coming months, a team of developers will be working to create hundreds of 3D models,” explained 7T IT Director Srini Kulkarni. The platform will be fully integrated with Salesforce in a manner that will allow for the future creation of a companion mobile app too.
What’s more, 7T will be using AI technology behind the scenes to aid in the development of the 3D models, allowing for a more rapid and cost-efficient development process. It’s a great example of how AI is transforming both the development process and the user experience for the finished product.
2024 promises to bring lots of new technological advances, especially when it comes to machine learning-driven AI. 7T is also leveraging multimodal machine learning to generate machine learning models with growing efficiency, leading to AI solutions that are increasingly relevant and affordable.
7Team Members Get IBM watsonx Certification
7T’s enterprise clients now have the opportunity to deploy IBM watsonx™ technology, as 7Team members have undergone extensive training in IBM’s newest AI platform. The watsonx™ AI platform — which includes an AI-powered data services offering — represents a powerful solution for a broad range of enterprise challenges.
According to the official watsonx™ site, the artificial intelligence and data platform features three core components that are “designed to help you scale and accelerate the impact of AI with trusted data across your business.”
The three core components include:
-
-
- “a studio for new foundation models, generative AI and machine learning;
- “a fit-for-purpose data store built on an open data lakehouse architecture; and
- “a toolkit, to accelerate AI workflows that are built with responsibility, transparency and explainability.”
-
IBM’s watsonx AI technology is particularly useful to highly-regulated industries, such as enterprise organizations in the banking and financial spaces. Let’s say a lender develops AI technology to review loan applications. The AI declines an applicant, who, in turn, decides to file a lawsuit. With IBM watsonx AI technology in play, the lender has the ability to review the AI’s machine learning model and then, they can pinpoint the exact reason(s) for the application rejection. IBM watsonx users are empowered with the data they need, exactly when it’s needed.
