Innovative Med-Tech Companies Poised to Attract Investment from Dallas based Health Wildcatters
DALLAS, TX — “Creativity and Convergence” is the theme of the 2017 Healthcare Dealmakers Conference and day one begins with a keynote speech followed by the start of an anticipated pitch competition.
7T president Shane Long will sit on a panel of judges at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Colinas where the Health Wildcatters will present the latest in health-technology startups. The young companies will be competing for $25,000 in cash prizes in front of an audience that will include over 100 healthcare venture capital and private equity investors. In addition to 7T, pitch competition sponsors include Polsinelli, Page Southerland Page, and Axxess.
Last year’s event took place at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas where the Health Wildcatters presented fifteen startups including Cariloop, EverlyWell and Socrates Health Solutions among others.
In its tenth year, the Healthcare Dealmakers Conference takes place on May 17-18 and is designed to bring together health and technology services leaders from around the United States. Conference attendees are said to share an understanding that innovation and M&A activity are significant drivers to shaping the future of the healthcare industry.
